The Kennels

We have 18 kennels for boarders, all with attached covered runs so dogs can have access regardless of weather, by providin protected from  sun and rain.
The dog have a access to and from the kennel, and are shut in over night where, inside they all have beds with blankets,  and a heat lamp for chilly times, water is available at all times.
Feeding and mediactions  will be given  acording to your own instructions, to which end, we will ask that you fill in a record card so we have all details on file. We have to insist that all dogs have an up to date vaccination record card for our purusal, this is required by our license conditions, as set out by DEFRA  we are then able to keep a note of the vacinations as they are up dated each year.
We can supply food; beds and bedding and we prefer to use our own dishes for feeding, though you are welcome to supply any bedding, (though we prefer not to take quilts; foam beds or bean bags as they suffer more in kennels than they would at home)  food, toys or treats that you feel will help your dog to settle into it's temporary home.   If you are providing medication for your dog, please ensure we have accurate dosage instructions, as well as an ample supply in case of a delay in your return, and preferably in the original packaging.   We also need to know what the reason for treatment, and any symptoms we should be aware of.

For exercise, which is always done as individuals or family groups, (we do not mix dogs who do not know each other) we have almost 7 acres of our own fields and woods, we like to walk dogs mainly on lead, this gives us a chance to get to know them, to know what is normal for them as individuals, so that we can recognise more quickly when there is a problem.  Knowing our guests as individuals through this individual time and attention they receive, is the cornerstone of our care package.   We also have a good sized compound where dogs can have off lead games and get rid of  excessive exuberance.  They are NEVER left in this run unattended to sit looking for someone to play with.

Fees vary according to the dogs size,
